Before…After...Before…After...Before…After...Before…After. The ‘ol FnAbone’s long, long journey. Here she is the day I picked her up and how she sits today. (Before = late 90s). The fine gentleman I bought her from had it set up for SBC. Well, that’s not going to do. I needed a home for a very fine ‘47 Flathead plus a ‘39 Ford transmission and the FnAbone fit the bill. (1929 Ford Model A Tudor). She sits a bit lower now thanks to a 5” drop i-beam axle and different springs for the ‘69 9-inch. The journey continues, this past summer the early ‘80s MGB seats got rebuilt and new upholstery added. Up next, maybe a back seat.

I can’t stop admiring this beautiful 4-banger. Simply outstanding! Ron has done an amazing job putting this engine together. Check out that overhead valve conversion. Ron used our braided spark plug wire and braided fuel line:

We've enjoyed following the progress of Rich's one man modified - now it's on the cover of the current issue of Street Rodder magazine! Congratulations! The car looks very fine with it's new red paint, lettering and pin stripping. Here's a shot of the cover and a picture from the article with a nice view of our very own upright oval "Model T" gas tank from The Hot Rod Company.
